The Ernest Cook Trust is one of the UK’s leading educational charities. The Trust was founded by the philanthropist Ernest Cook in 1952 and each year, as a result of his foresight and passion for the countryside and the arts, the current Trustees are able to distribute around £1.4m in educational grants to benefit children and young people. Sound Connections secured a small grant to support the activity of Wired4Music in 2011. The funding will allow Wired4Music to conceive, shape and deliver their own large scale event and work alongside inspiring artists.
