Contract of Employment Template

Sound Connections commissioned its solicitors to update it's contract of employment -  checking it against all the  latest legislation and legal requirements including the Working Time  Directive which some funders are now insisting is addressed.

The contact is for organisations with employees rather than freelance or fee-based workers and incorporates 'best practice' from both the employer and employee perspectives.

We are pleased to be able to offer a template of this contract to our members. It will be provided in electronic form (word) with 'blanks' to allow you to enter all the relevant individual information.

We can offer this template for a small fee of £60 per organisation. Charging for this facility is a way for us to explore sustaining some of our services for members in the long term. The offer is only open to our members.

What we cannot do is commit to providing follow-up advice and guidance on the contract or the issues that it might raise for your organisation. We can take no responsibility for any legal consequences arising from its use by Members.  It should also be noted that whilst this contract meets current legislation, employment law can change, following an Act of Parliament, case law or European Directive.

If there is sufficient demand for this 'service' we will be able to consider creating a FAQ resource to deal with regular queries as well as looking into other policy / contract type templates which may help our members.
