Wired4Music (Young Londoners' Music Council)

Sound Connections is developing a new Young Londoners' Music Council - Wired4Music, as a way for young people (ages 13-21yrs) from all backgrounds, with a passion for music, to communicate their thoughts, ideas and opinions about music making, and to lead in creating new activities and events.

The new Wired4Music website was launched on Friday 26th March, 2010, at the GLA's London Living Room, to an audience of 125 key strategic partners, members and parents. 

Wired4Music has also developed a signposting service for young people - Musical Opportunities - Allowing musical organisations, services and independent facilitators to sign-up and advertise their services to young people free of charge. Young Londoners' can search for opportunities by post code or interest.
