We regularly engage in panel discussions, debates, focus groups, campaigning and advocacy aimed at making a youth voice heard across the United Kingdom.
Wired4Music is a network of Londoners aged 16-25 who are passionate about music. Everything it does is decided by its members who co-produce projects and events, with support from Sound Connections staff and music sector mentors, facilitate youth voice consultations and influence music through consultation and advocacy. We launched the ReWired national survey in 2015 to gather information about existing youth voice activities in music education across England for the first time. This website opens up our findings and shares resources in the aim of kick-starting a bigger debate about youth voice, and raise its profile for organisations working musically with young people.
