£30 Freelancer/individual; £50 organisations with an annual turnover of less than £250k; £80 organisations with an annual turnover of more than £250k; Free of charge to London Youth members.

This training day will bring together youth professionals and music educators to share how we can support young people through music in youth work settings.

This will include:

  • Music industry and education sector landscape
  • Supporting young people into careers in music
  • Musical genres and learning practices young people are interested in
  • Lyrical content
  • Safeguarding

There will also be a practical workshop on music activities and ideas that could be used in a Youth Work setting with minimal resources and equipment.

Who is this session for?

This session is for London Youth members; music practitioners, instrumental/vocal tutors, community musicians working in or interested in working in a youth work setting.

This training day is delivered as a partnership between Sound Connections and London Youth.

We have a number of bursaries available to support practitioners attending our training events, including those from outside of London. Please contact for further details.

As a small charity we rely upon donations from generous individuals, trusts and companies to support our work with children and young people across London.
