#YouthVoiceWeek 2020: Register today and join the conversation!

Sound Connections is proud to launch the first ever Youth Voice Week for the creative and cultural sector, taking place from 5-9 October 2020.

Youth Voice Week is an interactive online schedule taking place across five days, allowing you to dip in and out however you want. Whether you’re a producer, coordinator, programme manager, marketeer, senior leader or trustee, you’ll find inspiration and ideas you need to work more collaboratively with young creatives. Register for your pass today and get unlimited streaming of all the week’s events and content, for a suggested donation of just £20!

How it works

All events will be broadcast on our new YVTV channel, launched exclusively at Youth Voice Week:

  • The Morning Show will stream daily at 11am, featuring special guests from across the creative sector, presented by Wired4Music’s Anna-Marie Descartes.
  • Every day at 1pm we will release a new ‘lunchbox’ of new and exclusive youth voice content.
  • Pre-booked small group surgeries will run every afternoon from 2pm (register now for a chance to book on).
  • Everyday at Drivetime, young creatives and their organisations will take over social media for #YouthVoiceHour – look out for fresh content and big discussions on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

About Youth Voice Week 2020

We’ve created Youth Voice Week to highlight the vital importance of listening to young people and involving them in shaping the future of the creative and cultural sector. Youth voice makes our work becomes more representative, relatable and relevant. Sound Connections has been supporting the creative sector in youth voice and inclusion for over 10 years and we are proud to present this programme, designed with young leaders from Wired4Music to ensure maximum relevance for you, your organisation and your young people. You can find out more on the new Youth Voice Week website!
