Breaking news: SEN Music Seminar with special guest Nigel Osborne

We’re delighted to announce a keynote speech by Nigel Osborne MBE (University of Edinburgh, War Child) at our autumn seminar on Friday 18th October 2013.

The event will take place at Amnesty International and features presentations and workshops on empowering children and young people with special needs through music. We’ll be giving you cutting edge practical tools, expert advice and a wealth of inspiration for your projects and settings.

The seminar features workshops and sessions from Dr Adam Ockleford (Sounds of Intent) and Ben Schogler (Skoog), alongside a live performance by H.BAM!, a band set up and led by young people with autism. The afternoon panel will be chaired by Sound Connections associate artist, Gawain Hewitt (Drake Music, Trinity Laban, Serious) inviting the audience to discuss and debate the big issues of the day.

Places are going quick, to book yours visit our events page.
