As a small charity we rely upon donations from generous individuals, trusts and companies to support our work with children and young people across London.

By practitioners for practitioners: community led training is live!
We are pleased to announce our first two community led training courses where practitioners in their communities will be sharing their practice, expertise and ideas.
The two courses are:
Creating diverse, equal and inclusive musical environments in the early years (25th February) led by Anjana Rinne (York Rise Nursery) which will focus on how to enable all children to feel valued and supported during everyday interaction within an early years setting.
Using carnival themes in youth music workshops (7th March) led by Xi-mali Kadeena-Guscoth and Femi Oriogun-Williams (Pumpkin Jigsaw) where through practical activity delegates will explore methods used in creating carnival performances and how they can be adapted to work with vulnerable young people, in the case of Pumpkin Jigsaw with young migrants and refugees in London.
Sound Connections are committed to supporting emerging practitioners to devise and deliver training courses, to bring new perspectives on inclusive practice to our network. Bookings for these courses are now open, we hope to see you there.
