Cultural Recovery Fund

We are delighted to announce that Sound Connections has received significant funding from the Cultural Recovery Fund. This investment from Arts Council England and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), will underpin the support programmes we provide for young people, music practitioners and organisations. It also enables us to continue championing inclusivity, diversity and social justice in music, and supporting young people and freelancers with paid work during this difficult time for so many in our sector.

We look forward to developing our plans over the coming months and will be sharing a range of opportunities for musicians, music leaders and young people through our social channels. Do make sure that you watch this space!

“Support from Arts Council England’s Cultural Fund will be vital in helping Sound Connections sustain its work and plan our next phase of work over the coming months. Through this investment we will be able to support more young people through our Wired4Music network and enable musicians and music leaders to transition back into work”

– Philip Flood, Director
