Mayor’s High Street Fund

The Mayor’s Regeneration Team are launching the second round of funding for the best, most eligible local community projects that make London’s high streets even better places to visit, live in and do business. The first round of applications attracted interesting projects with culture at the heart of their ideas.

The Mayor is using crowdfunding website Spacehive to invite local community groups such as Town Teams or Business Improvement Districts, Neighbourhood Forums, charities, social enterprises, schools and London Boroughs representing diverse communities, to suggest great projects to improve their local high street. Crowdfunding is a way of fundraising that allows anyone to pledge money to your project. If enough people support your idea, you can quickly raise the money you need to make it happen.

To help you hit your target, the Mayor will pledge up to £20,000 to the best, eligible projects with the next round of pledges happening in the summer. To be considered, enter your project before Monday 29 June 2015, and start drumming up local support.
