PhD scholarship opportunity

The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, University of the West of England (UWE) are awarding eight PhD scholarships for the academic year 2012/2013.

One of 20 topic areas selected for potential inclusion by the Centre for Health and Clinical Research, and supervised by Professor Norma Daykin, is ‘Music and wellbeing in disadvantaged young people’.  If a successful candidate is selected for this topic, Youth Music will also be working with UWE in an advisory capacity. The strongest 8 candidates across from all topic areas will be selected for the scholarships.

The deadline for applications is 13 May. More information can be found here.

As a small charity we rely upon donations from generous individuals, trusts and companies to support our work with children and young people across London.
