Professional Development Bursaries Awarded

As part of our COVID-19 response programme Sound Connections has awarded 15 bursaries for individuals to be able to further their professional development during the crisis. Individuals will be using these bursaries in a number of ways, including: compiling research in a particular area of practice; learning new skills for example facilitation; attending training; purchasing specialist publications and resources; purchasing hardware and software for developing online practice and home studio set-ups; and producing online content. Successful recipients are:

  •  Alex Davis
  • Alex Pullinger
  • Anna Astesano
  • Emily Stratford
  • Jake Jones
  • Joe Steele
  • Kolia Bene
  • Leila Seguin
  • Liz Liew
  • Mariann Canning
  • Nicola McAteer
  • Roshi Nasehi
  • Sarah Atter
  • Sarah-Nell Moullier
  • Shirley Tetteh

All those awarded bursaries will share a resource for the Sound Connections network – through blog posts, summaries, reflections, toolkits, reading lists, online videos and tutorials – so watch this space!

As a small charity we rely upon donations from generous individuals, trusts and companies to support our work with children and young people across London.
