As a small charity we rely upon donations from generous individuals, trusts and companies to support our work with children and young people across London.

Sound Connections signs up to the ISM – MU Code of Practice
Sound Connections is delighted to be a supporter of a newly developed Code of Practice jointly developed by ISM and MU. The Code of Practice is a set of principles that aims to eradicate bullying, harassment, discrimination and other forms of inappropriate behaviour within the music sector. These principles also aim to aid employers to meet their legal requirements as well as setting out a shared vision for promoting and maintaining a positive working culture.
We believe that everyone is responsible for promoting and maintaining an inclusive workplace which is positive and supportive and are committed to promoting and maintaining a diverse and equal working culture. Our aim, over the coming months, is to ensure that the principles of this Code of Practice are embedded at the early stages of careers in the music and music education sector and that a safer and more inclusive working culture becomes the norm.
We would urge organisations across the music and music education sector to consider supporting this important initiative as well.
