Teach Through Music – final places moving fast!

Untitled

Our year of professional development, support and inspiration for Key Stage 3 music teachers in London is kicking off with three Launch Events beginning this week. After a busy start to the new school term we only have 40 places on the programme remaining for teachers interested in this unique and completely subsidised CPD opportunity. Don’t hesitate – begin your enrolment now!

Led by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and a world-class partnership of music education organisations, Teach Through Music sets out to create a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for KS3 music teaching in London. It draws upon the expertise of teachers, the Higher Education community and cultural organisations. Teach Through Music is designed to complement the busy lives of teachers. It offers choice and flexibility, allowing you to select training which best meets your needs, and those of your school.

The programme reflects the views and concerns of KS3 music teachers gathered in a survey conducted during the formulation of Teach Through Music, targeting specific issues such as the isolation of music teachers, and the desire for community of practice sharing and support. To read more about what teachers said, read our summary of our consultation findings here.
