Sound Connections offer a range of training opportunities relevant to those working across the music education sector

Our training offer has been reviewed with our network. We have listened to what you have told us through our questionnaire, and are trying out new formats, content and approaches.

Sound Connections’ workforce development programme looks at our key organisational priorities of youth voice and participation; music and social justice; and music in the early years.

All of our events are subsidised by funding from Youth Music and the Rachel Baker Charitable Trust.

We have a number of travel stipends available for teachers and practitioners working outside of Greater London who would like to attend a training event. Please contact for details.

Our training programme needs you!

Sound Connections is trying something new this year. We know there is a rich set of expertise within the Sound Connections and Wired4Music communities and we want this reflected in a co-created training offer. Therefore we are inviting suggestions for training events, in your localities, based on a need you might have identified, or expertise you would like to share. Find out more>
