Details for Youth Led Initiatives Session Announced

Join us for our Spring Youth Voice training and networking event! This informal online session offers a welcoming space to gain inspiration, share experiences, receive feedback and advice, and connect with others who are striving to empower the next generation.

About the session: 

The session is designed to support those working with young people within the youth and creative sectors, by providing an informal space for gaining inspiration, sharing experiences, receiving advice, and connecting with others that are striving to empower the young people they work with.

This will be a 2-hour online session, that will include short presentations (10 minutes followed by 5 minutes for Q&A) from organisations that are working with young people in exciting ways, such as yourself! 

For this session we will be partnering with: 

YCUK:
The UK’s first impact lead creative agency. Reimagining how creativity works with underrepresented young people. They harness their disruptive and joyful culture to deliver unique work and create real change. 

AMP:
A youth music development charity, AMP champion’s the transformative potential of music for children and young people. Working through the knowledge that music has the power to change lives – it can raise aspirations, enable personal and social development, and enhance career prospects.

The Agency:
The Agency of Change is a national charity that champions creativity as a catalyst for leadership, opportunity and systemic change. They primarily work with young people aged 15–25 from underserved communities across the UK and Northern Ireland, helping them design and deliver social impact projects rooted in lived experience.


During the session organisations will share information on:

  • Who they are and what exaclty they do on a day-to-day basis 
  • Why having young people at the forefront of your work is important 
  • How they implement young people’s voices into what you do  
  • Notes on their projects, recommendations, findings working with young people and best practices.

This session will provide a space for organisations and practitioners to come together, talk, network and help share ways to better involve young people and improve the sector.
