Sound Connections is seeking to appoint two people to join our board of trustees and directly contribute to the charity’s management and decision-making for the next phase of its development.
This is a voluntary position and a great opportunity to guide and support our work with young people, musicians, and organisations across the UK. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with experience of the music industry, and generating income from sponsorship, donations, and trusts and foundations.
The role consists of giving direction to the charity, managing people and resources, setting employment policies, ensuring the organisation’s accountability, and seeing that it abides by charity law and governance (full details of the role and responsibilities can be found here).
We aim to have a Board of Trustees who bring a range of skills and experience, and to represent the diversity of London in terms of age, dis/ability, gender, race/ethnic origin and sexuality.
If you would like to discuss becoming a Sound Connections trustee, please email Philip Flood, philip@sound-connections.org.uk, with your CV and to arrange a time for an informal zoom or phone call.
